Ivorian Academic and Diplomat becomes EDU Special Adviser for African Affairs
Dr. Latte Paul ANGOLI is the current President of COGID-PORTUGAL (General Coordinator of Ivorian Diaspora) as well as the President of African French Speaking Countries in Portugal (AFRAPO).
Dr. Angoli, as a student at University Felix Houphouet Boigny of Ivory Coast came to Portugal for the first time by the Camões Institute scholarship in August 2001.
He returned in Ivory Coast and came back to Portugal for the second time with the annual Camões Institute scholarship (2002 -2003) and enrolled for the Masters the following year.
He concluded the thesis of Master in Brazilian and African Literature in the Faculty of Arts, University of Lisbon in 2006 and then enrolled in doctorate in 2009.
Working in different hotels in Lisbon and the Faculty of Arts to pay his own course fees, it was not until July 2015 that he concluded the Doctoral Thesis at the same University.

EDU Special Advisor for African Affairs
Dr. Latte Angoli played an important role in the installation of the first Embassy of Ivory Coast in Portugal.

Finding a suitable building for the Ambassadorial Residence and Embassy staff.

Administrative Services (phone calls and Ambassador Business organization in various embassies and institutions, and sending communications to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal;

Guiding, monitoring, coordination and, translations.
Dr. Paul Latte Angoli became a higher education teacher by successfully passing selection of university professors at the University Felix Houphouet Boigny where he also teaches.
Passionate about his home country, the desire of Dr. Latte Paul Angoli is to be more active in the field of education in his country of origin and also to develop tourism including with a project to build an international tourism and hospitality school.
He is well versed in all aspects of diplomacy and became the logical choice to fill the coveted position as the EDU Special Advisor for African Affairs.
